A loud snarl of utter frustration would follow, backed up by a blast of all consuming blue fire. Machines would clunk and hiss as the metal around them melted and collapsed, the walls cracking and the plaster splintering as the prince of Gehenna continued his rage. The others had continued on, taking Izumo away from the hidden base, but Rin couldn’t stand the idea of leaving. Not until he’d brought them all home safely.
Even if Shima was a traitorous bastard.
He’d drag the asshole back kicking and screaming if he had to. There was no way he was getting away with this. Renzou had doomed himself the moment he accepted Rin for what he was, the moment he had given the halfling any hope that life could be normal despite what he was.
Rin knew full well that they could hear him, and he would tear this place apart without a shred of mercy until he’d found what he came for. Another roar of anger, another swipe of his sword. The lash of flames would slice into pipes, severing the wires that hooked up to the cameras surveying the area. Time to move in deeper.
Like a blue blur Rin would spring through the trashed base, his tail lashing wildly behind him as his eyes darted in search of his target. Ever the one track mind that he was. This place was like a maze of metal, all the hallways looked the same. The doors locked by number pads, some sort of newer technology——-- Whatever ——– All locks were useless when in the face of his overwhelming strength.
"Nn– Grrrr—-!!! Where are you, Traitor—??!!“
He wanted to coax the other out using any means he could. The less energy he had to waste, the better. He couldn’t risk getting consumed a second time, no-one was there to stop him this time around, should the worst truly happen. But even so, Rin was willing to risk it, if it meant bringing his friend home.
