Renzou smiled at Rin, something that was actually genuine and not a gut reaction to being anxious about pleasing Rin- and where even did that thought come from? Maybe from watching Rin stretch, or something like that.
Kuro’s arrival distracted Renzou enough- he greeted Kuro briefly with the awkwardness of someone who is aware of what cats are but isn’t so good at interacting with them. That was Konekomaru’s business anyways.
Renzou stepped into the dorm and closed the door behind him, politely taking off his shoes and padding in the room half awkwardly, half comfortably.

Rin plucked Kuro from his shoulders once he’d made his way inside, handing the Cait Sith to Shima. “Hold him, will ya’. You two can sit at the table if you want.” He offered, noting Renzou’s slightly awkward stance.
Either way, he was going to do what he did best. Snatching up an apron, gathering what he needed, he’d dart around the kitchen. Happily wagging his tail as he worked on cooking dinner for the three of them. The little demon that lived in the dorm kitchen busied itself with helping, setting the table without a moments pause.
